Join us on Wednesday 4th December between 5pm and 8pm to celebrate Christmas in Wichelstowe.
The festivities will start with an advent service at the Deanery before moving outside to enjoy a few carols by the canal accompanied by Wroughton Silver Band. Enjoy a free Waitrose mince pie and some mulled wine whilst welcoming Father Christmas and his parade of boats to Canalside.
The event will be jointly hosted by the Deanery, Waitrose, Hall and Woodhouse and the Wichelstowe Development Team. We’d also like to thank all our fantastic partner organisations:
– Housebuilding is now well underway in Canalside and both David Wilson Homes and Barratt Homes have sponsored the decorations.
– Our fabulous footbridge will be at the centre of the celebrations and the contractor, Knights Brown have supported the event.
– Integral to the success of development at Wichelstowe our ecologists Keystone and civil engineers Peter Brett Associates are joining in with the festivities.
– The Wilts and Berks Canal Trust, supported by Wiltshire Air Ambulance have been helping out Father Christmas with his transport.
– It also wouldn’t be Christmas without John Lewis & Partners or Lindt so look out for Excitable Edgar and a chocolate Father Christmas!
