The Deanery CE Academy welcomed its first pupils this morning. Pupils and their parents joined the school staff gathered in Hall and Woodhouse for a quick tea or coffee early in the morning before walking across to the school.
Principal, Linda Culling led the Year 7 students through a corridor of flags waved by teachers, governors and supporters of the school including the Bishop of Swindon who cheered the students into the school.
The Deanery CE Academy will open to a year group at a time and offers fantastic teaching, sporting and performing arts facilities which are also open to the wider community.
