Consent has been granted for 185 homes to be delivered by Freeman Retirement Living as part of the Wichelstowe development project.
The dedicated over-55 homes at Wichelstowe will be within walking distance of Waitrose and the buzzing atmosphere of the Canalside Square, where residents can shop, eat and enjoy the views. The homes themselves will be developed around landscaped courtyards along the waterside, providing an excellent outlook over the canal and beyond. The interior layouts will be designed to support independent living, with a further number of innovative features to adapt the homes to additional needs as required.
Luke Freeman, Joint Chief Executive of MF Freeman Group and Managing Director of Freeman Retirement Living, said: “We are delighted that the planning consent has been granted for our development. It’s exciting to be part of something that is going to bring a new lease of life to the Swindon area. Our aim is to develop homes that support independent living for over-55s, helping them to be part of the lively and active community being built at Wichelstowe.”
Construction on the homes is due to commence later this year. To register your interest or find out more, call 01594 543354 or visit www.freemanretirementliving.co.uk
