Barratt David Wilson Homes has launched its Community Heroes award to champion the neighbourly spirit at its Canalside @ Wichelstowe development, and celebrate a member of the community who makes it such a welcoming place to live.
Members of the community can nominate anyone who lives, works or volunteers at Barratt David Homes’ flagship development on the edge of Swindon who goes above and beyond for others. The winner will receive a fantastic prize worth £250 courtesy of Barratt David Wilson Homes, Hall & Woodhouse and Waitrose, to recognise the contribution they’ve made to the local community.
Andrea Pilgrim, sales director for Barratt Homes Bristol, said: “We want to celebrate the amazing community at Canalside @ Wichelstowe. People are at the heart of our developments, and we want to give someone special an official pat on the back to recognise all they do for others.”
Louise Ware, sales director for Barratt David Wilson Homes South West, added: “Not all heroes wear capes – some of them run errands for others, litter pick to keep our streets tidy or run groups that help foster community spirit. We want to hear about them and give them the recognition they deserve for going the extra mile for the Wichelstowe community.”
It couldn’t be simpler to nominate someone who deserves special recognition. To tell us who’s a winner in your eyes, visit www.commhero.co.uk. You can enter up to two people, as long as they live, work or volunteer at the development. Entries are open between 11 April and 6 May and the winner will be announced by 23 May.
